This was our first year building an above ground pool and little did we know that the sand lining the pool could easily wash away in heavy rain or when the sprinklers were on. I searched and searched the internet for a possible solution other than draining our 10,000 gallon pool and starting over. We even wanted to concrete the sides of the pool to keep water from getting under the pool and washing out the sand. I stumbled across them while working on Revain and wondered if they would work for my purposes. I am sooo happy to report that they work great! They are the perfect width to fit snugly within the 30cm gap between the grass and the bottom of the pool, preventing water from getting under the pool to wash out the sand. Great inexpensive solution!
