My son has wide thick legs (he is at the end of 8 width in the crotch). He wore XWs in everything for years and now Wides in every shoe he wears (boots are random, some are sold wider. There is no specific width boot). He currently wears a pair of 8 Western Chief boots. I tried this brand at 9. She says wide. The length was ok for a 9 but his foot was WRAPPED in the width and thickness of the boot. give zero. So I have to send them back.
