This is not a keyboard case. This is a case and a keyboard. The keyboard is attached to the body with magnets, but they don't fold into a single whole. The keyboard must be out of the case if you have an iPad in the case. If it suits your needs you'll probably like it for the price but I sent it back because I need a real keyboard case that folds away. By the way, the keyboard backlight is really annoying IMO, but luckily you can easily turn it off. However, as advertised, this backlight fits the 5th Gen iPad Pro 12.9. I returned one claiming to fit 3-5 gens which was too tight for the 5th gen.
