After my first freestyle libre came loose after rubbing the wall too hard I looked around and found this. They seemed like a good idea considering the sensors cost $38 each. I tried one, it seemed like a good idea at first, but after 2 days it got really itchy. It was almost impossible to remove, my wife had to carefully trim the sensor with a razor as it was firmly attached to the sensor. Then I can peel it off the skin. But that's not the end of the story. I disabled another sensor and, somewhat frustrated, called Abbott Labs to speak to them. They were very helpful and mailed me two new sensors. They said they would definitely replace any sensors that fell off before the 14 day deadline, even though I thought it was my fault. Just call and they'll send a replacement. They also told me NOT to use these products. The sensors must not be covered. Just stick them on as directed and hope for the best. On their support site (see freestylelibre.us) they recommend three different additional medical grade adhesives, not patches. Customer Service Number: 1-855-632-8658. All in all the quality of this product is good if you manage the possible itchiness but I wouldn't recommend it.
