I wanted to find a backpack for my dog to wear on walks so he gets tired. Most of the ones I saw were brightly colored, but I was looking for a more rugged, classic look. This backpack hit the spot and was reasonably priced. I figured I would have to make it easier for my dog to carry but he immediately accepted. This is a 90lb Bernese Mountain Dog and after the initial fit it fits perfectly and I didn't have to adjust it. I haven't had any problems with him slipping while walking.
