Don't go if you have nails!
I have relatively short fingernails, but my thumbs dig into my gloves every time. They're on to me, so there's no reason why that should happen. I work with alkali so it is very important that my skin is not exposed. I'll be going back as I've already caused chemical burns to my thumb as I don't notice the crack until it's too late!
