Ok first of all I got these pair today and installed them as soon as I got home. It would be easy to install if I had small hands. But my fat hands fit so little in that space that Volkswagen decided to go into the mechanics. I still think car companies need to make these lamps more accessible. Anyway, after installing both bulbs, I started the car and HOLY RED! You are sooo bright! For some reason I felt guilty putting them on. I haven't ridden yet but I'll see if the throw is decent and hopefully no one will spot me along the way. Wish me luck! I will update later. Update: I've been driving through busy streets at 40mph and no flash from oncoming traffic. I'm not sure if people care or if the light isn't offensively bright. But for now, the lack of a breakout is still good news. Installed in a 2017 VW Golf Alltrack SE.
