I bought unflavored because it's more versatile. I tried adding it to a mango drink and thought I made a mistake when I bought it. It had a slightly odd texture and taste. I decided to try chocolate and made an amazing chocolate peanut ice cream with it. The texture was like soft serve, no semolina, no weird flavors or aftertaste. I've also made protein brownies which were pretty good too. I will try other flavors soon. If it turns out that chocolate is needed for enrobing, I'll just buy chocolate next time. Ice Cream Recipe, in case anyone is interested: About 4 ounces unsweetened almond milk 1 scoop Black Velvet cocoa powder 2 scoops Lacanto peanut butter powder Scoops unflavored protein powder. Drops monk fruit extract 1 frozen diced banana Using an electric blender, mix together almond milk, monk fruit extract and powder before adding frozen banana pieces and blending again.
