After using many different brands, all at least 5 megapixels, I can tell you that Reolink had the best IP camera app. The app is the most responsive and very user-friendly. At least their app works in IOS/Apple products. As fast as the camera is, it has the fewest smart features. The motion detection feature lags several months behind other brands in terms of usability. Motion notification is triggered when clouds pass overhead, and if you turn the sensitivity higher it won't pick up on people walking by. But the notification via the app is very fast. Night vision is not very good without IR on, unlike Amcrest or Dahua cameras with a Starlight lens. The Reolink camera also lacks HDR functionality. The daytime picture is very good and clear. As I said before, this camera seems to be a little behind in design and functionality compared to other Poe cameras. The app, on the other hand, is much better than the others. The NEST app is MUCH better, but NEST does not have a 5MP camera, and the delay in notifications from the NEST app is very high. Forget Ring, the cameras are terrible. So there is no perfect system. It's a shame that you can't combine hardware and software products from different manufacturers.
