Review on Ultra Soft Transition Tights for Girls: The Capezio Experience by Loren Schmidt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not just for dancing!

I was looking for high-quality tights that our girls can wear with school uniform jumpers. I was bribed by the reviews of this product as well as the transition features. These tights far exceeded my expectations even for everyday school use, not for a few hours a week in a dance class. The fit was as expected; perfect for our daughters so you don't have to figure out whose tights they are when you get dressed in the morning. Another plus of tights in general (compared to socks) is that after washing and drying they are always ready for use. You don't have to search for a pair to make a pair (those hell of matchless socks!). Despite frequent use, they hold up very well even after washing in the machine. To be honest I don't hand wash them as recommended - they mostly end up in the trash! Other tights can slip and tear after just a sock or two; or after a child in a hurry has pulled them by the belt too quickly, or stuck a finger too far out of the end. They bind and sometimes lose their shape. Not so with these. IMO, the hole at the bottom (making them a crossover) actually prevents the finger hole problem. So the fingers have freedom of movement, not because of the material! They're thin enough to be comfortable, but thick enough to provide warmth while still being durable. Since these are transitional pantyhose, girls can go barefoot when they get home before changing without getting their soles dirty. In fact, I liked the transition feature so much that I bought several pairs of women's transition tights (obviously a different product listing)! I will be buying more throughout the school year. My only complaint: I wish they came in navy blue too!
