I like these cake circles as they are grease resistant, cakes don't stain the surface of the white fluted circles so they stay nice and clean which is a great deal is better alternative than regular white cake circles. "Wilton 12" Cake Circles are the perfect surface for resting cakes, although they are not very strong they do provide some support, make sure your hands are under the cake circle to hold the cake securely , otherwise it can quickly bend, and you lose your cake, I've seen it before, they are on the thin side.If the cake is heavy, use more circles for extra support.Sometimes I just cut out a round circle a clean and much heavier corrugated box and use different colored aluminum foil to wrap and decorate the cake circle and then I place the decorated cake circle on the cake stand, much better presentation, I also use them with a patterned doily, you can even make your own with aluminum foil make if you don't want to spend money.These cake circles should only be used once.After I ha ordered them tte, i found a place where they sell 100 and even 50 pieces for a much better price and they are greaseproof too. The cake circles arrived very quickly with no problems, I will use them all! .Thank you DD
