Review on πŸ’ͺ High Power Dual Band VHF UHF 50W/40W Mobile Transceiver Vehicle Radio AnyTone AT-5888UV with Programming Cable by Chad Carter

220? No, that is not so. this is UV III model number

220 setting required but fair warning 5888UV does not transmit to 220 only receives. The 5888UVIII is the 1.25m version. I'm usually a Yaesu guy so I didn't get it. This will be the first and last Chinese radio I will buy. But for a dual band radio station 2m 70cm the quality seems quite good. Although this radio does not fully meet my expectations, it is my fault that I did not get it. Same model number but all in version 3 for tri-band operation. And I needed that. I've had good reports on my limited 2m testing. Probably give it away or start using pkt. Very disappointed that they couldn't use a different model number to better differentiate it from the 1.25m range. yes my fault But first impressions are that it's a decent radio if you're looking for a 2m 70cm setup. The screen colors are everything you can imagine, they can be adjusted to look good on the display are readable and navigating through the integrated menu is relatively easy. . To be clear, not all 5888UVs can run in 220 mode. It's not entirely clear from everything I've read, it's all very vague.
