Hi all! I was looking for a soundbar for my home, I wanted to connect it to a new plasma and also listen to music via Bluetooth. I settled on 2 models: Sony HT-S350 and JBL 2.1 Deep Bass. I came to audition in one large chain store with the letter M. There, these soundbars were right next to each other, so I took some kind of chair, sat opposite and began to listen to my music from the iPhone, switching from one soundbar to another. What can I say - JBL lives up to its name and there is just a lot of bass! True, to the detriment of medium and high frequencies - they seem to be not there at all . Apparently, Samsung's takeover of JBL forced the Koreans to start saving . With Sony, the situation seemed to be the opposite - amazing mids and highs, but not enough bass . As it turned out later, their level can be adjusted from the remote control. Let me explain why it “seemed”: in a store with an area of several thousand square meters, Sony sounded flat, because JBL even shook its guts in the store, but when I turned on Sony at home (I still bought Sony), I breathed a sigh of relief - Sony has bass with excess! I'm glad I didn't take JBL, otherwise if Sony has an abundance of bass, then in an apartment it would be impossible to listen to JBL in principle. At a volume of about 45%, the neighbors called the cops - I heard after 23-00, I confess .)) Another important thing is that Sony has a subwoofer playing forward, while JBL has a speaker looking at the floor - hello, neighbors! )) I was very pleased with the purchase of the Sony HT-S350 and strongly advise you to take a soundbar only with a subwoofer, without it (I tried to turn it off) there is no difference with the speakers from the TV and the point of buying is generally lost.
