My daughter had pierced ears and a bump on the back of her head next to the earring hole. I thought it might be an infection but turned out to be sensitivity to the nickel from the back of the earring. I bought them and changed them and within a week the bump was gone and my ears were healed. I definitely recommend them to everyone, but especially sensitive ears. They fit regular sized pegs (tested on a pair of hers and a pair of mine), not too big and not too small, and we had no issues with them falling off or being difficult to put on and take off.
