Light weight and excellent quality for the price. Blow up is much lighter and without the weight of all non-explosive plastics. Definitely easier to carry in current or wind. Very durable and to be honest I got it halfway from what it recommends. I've only been on it once before, but it's easy to use and sooooo much more convenient to carry and travel with. The fin is separate and snaps into place. The included paddle is quite heavy and the bar appears to be metal. I went with a lighter plastic spatula instead, so I don't know how it works. The explosion lasts several minutes. I used the compressor for about 30 seconds and then finished by hand with the pump that came with it. i like colors The bottom is solid blue with a large white compass symbol in the middle. I'm still not sure if I prefer Zoom. On my big plastic I can take my dog with me. Haven't tried it yet but because it's so light it feels like you have less stability but not easy to tip over. I will add. The only thing I don't like is the weird name I can't pronounce. It's printed in big letters on the side, ha. It's on Lake Champlain in Vermont. Enjoy.
