As shown in one of the promotional images, this is used to lock the golf cart steering wheel through the roof rail. We have a custom cart so I was worried it wouldn't fit, but I liked having 4 keys - we can split them between car keyrings, RV keys and golf cart keyrings for peace of mind. Our previous golf cart safety plan included chains on the underside. Using this lock keeps us from falling to the ground and is an obvious visual deterrent for those looking at our camper van when we're not around.
