The stand is well weighted and supports the iPad from any angle. However, the clip itself can interfere with most book covers (the front flap that you twist behind the tablet during use). The photos show both sides of the clip and how the case flexes on one side and the fold side can push the tablet out a bit. The last picture shows how the rubber part of the clip should be so that the tablet can be clamped and not collide with the case. If the outer straight rubber were thicker to grip the tablet, the case would move freely. It was a quick decision. Looking for a more permanent solution. Holds a rack but wish it had additional rubber inserts I could cut to double the outside of the clamp.
