The softness of the duvet convinced me immediately. I used to spend extra money to buy bamboo and tencel sheets. I used to fall for Anthropologie comforters and comforters a lot too. Therefore, I have high requirements for soft material. While it doesn't have the slippery feel of bamboo, it's still very soft. Could get even better after a few washes. Might come back and update. All in all it seems like a great value. EDIT: The ruffled top looks like plastic! In my first review, I only felt the underside of the blanket. The upper has an odd m, smooth texture. It's not bad, but it reminds me of a plastic bag. Too expensive for what it is IMO.
