This ball pit is perfect for me because we are in such a small place I like that I can clean it up and take it out whenever I want. my daughter is very happy about it, but i, on the other hand, am not a big fan of taking out and putting away balls. but the hole itself is fine. It's not that durable but can't expect much from a folding activity. It's quite tricky to fold and I have a feeling if you fold it wrong enough times the wire inside might lose it's original shape but we've only had it for about 3 weeks or so maybe too soon to tell. My pics of the whole pit which again is just right for my 1 1/2 year old, she loves tossing balls in the hoop which is a little activity within the activity I just need to get more balls . As for the price, I think it's worth the price. Not $50 but around 25-28.
