My wife bought it for herself thinking it was wireless. She thought that she should bring it and charge it, then it would transfer the charge in the car. Don't make that mistake, you have to plug it into your car to charge your phone, but once plugged in, it's super cool! It detects when you bring your phone close, opens and closes the phone once your phone is there. The wireless (not connected to the phone) component is lightning fast.
