Replacement for an old double leather wallet (see photo, black wallet is old). I'm picky about my wallets and prefer only foldable, vertical cards for cards (I think they call it "booklet" style). I've tried about a dozen over the years and the more minimalist types are the best because I can't stand a bulky wallet in the front pocket I carry it in. However, the most minimalist wallets just don't have enough space for what I want to store in them. Looking for a compromise, I figured this version of the Serman Brands wallet would work perfectly. The SB wallet arrived very well packaged as you can see from the photos. I ordered the California Desert color and it is beautiful. I feel like it has imperfections rather than a darker color, but hey, it's just a wallet, not wall art :) The first thing that struck me is that the SB is made of thicker leather. It is comfortable to the touch and durable, with lining and fine stitching. I worry about how bulky it will be if I move everything. I've attached a photo of my old wallet with everything in it next to an empty new SB. The next picture shows an empty old wallet next to a full SB after handing in everything (ID, 7 credit cards, 3 US bills, 4 business cards, plastic toothpicks/floss, 2 thin receipts). It's a little bigger than an old wallet. The last photo shows the old wallet above the SB, so you can see that the length and width measurements are very close. Overall I think I will be very happy with this SB. It's a bit bigger than my old wallet and doesn't have many compartments so I'm having to get used to it. I hope it wears well and shrinks a bit with use. This is a very good quality wallet, well worth the price!
