I bite hard lifting weights and nearly break my teeth deadlifting. You only get one bit and knowing that Brian Shaw uses this mouthpiece I knew this was a winner. I read some other negative reviews that said the mouthpiece melted and went bad when they boiled it in water. Well these people are stupid, the instructions don't tell you to do this so follow the instructions. As a first step, there is a tutorial video that shows and explains how to install the mouthpiece that you will receive. It's very straight forward and simple. I amazingly followed the directions and guessed what was perfect on the first try. Now the part looks a bit different, but that's normal, you can see it changed a bit in the video, don't worry either, it's completely normal. I used my piece right after fitting it to my teeth. I have to say it was great using this day at the gym, I was able to focus more on my workout and less on snacking to worry about my teeth. I had the best bench press that day! I use it all the time now, whenever I gain weight I wear it because I bite and need to keep my teeth from grinding. It gives me more confidence in the gym. There are many beautiful colors, blue was out of stock when I ordered it so they gave me an estimate of when I would receive it and I was updated when this changed to an earlier date. which was great. They had excellent communication and you will receive a mouthguard with a mouthpiece and clip which I use. I clip it to my bag and hold it to my side for a quick grab. I highly recommend it if you bite hard and grind your teeth at the gym. This will release tension in your mouth and help you focus.
