This will be my first review of a product, hopefully my last, and it will be short and sweet. There are many cameras and choosing one can be confusing. So I relied on the general customer ratings of 4.4 out of 5 stars. I'm not sure if these customers received any compensation or if I'm just an unhappy buyer. The camera was initially difficult to set up and failed to connect wirelessly. I had to connect it to my cable modem via ethernet to do this job. After connecting, I found that the software is very buggy. Sometimes I could connect and sometimes not. I've had it for a week now and the software was too cumbersome to use, taking too long to restart, reconnect and troubleshoot. When running the image quality is very good but I couldn't get enough consistency to justify keeping this system due to very poor software. I will be more careful with future purchases and not give as much weight to general customer reviews.
