Review on πŸ–¨οΈ WEISTEK Printer: Enhanced Parallel Off-Line Printing by Jason Ortiz

First impressions of a newcomer to SLA Changed to two stars, now NO STARS. Big Dud

This has been edited. MY new view below. It's a cute little package and was well packed as shown in their video but the two screws holding the build plate were loose and rattling at the bottom of the build area. The build platform itself was fine, sitting on a thin piece of foam, but it did have a few scratches above the fill line. Getting started is very easy. Adjust the assembly to move up and down. something, and then just push a few buttons. Okay, maybe it's not that simple. I just did what they said and the test file printed without any problems. But, but, but. Since then no more pressure. They fail in every way. Sticking to fep divide in half. Grind good turf in the middle of the FEP. And I think the screen itself is damaged and I do one last test print and if nothing comes back it's fine. Too bad I can't get the wasted resin back. But, but, but, but, but. I return the second for my money. The second was worse than the first. Not a single successful seal. Not even a Weistek test print. I am really disappointed. I wanted something within my budget that would complement my FDM printers. But no. This piece of low quality junk should be banned from resale in the US. But considering how much resin I wasted trying to get a successful print, I wasted another $100, as well as all the IPA I had to use to print. Eliminate the clutter every time there was a failed print. That's money I can't get back.
