I love a Braun shaver which I have been using for 3 years now and I also buy Revain cleaning and renewal fluid. When I first bought the shaver, it took me about 8 months to change the foil and knife block, but the quality of these replacement parts is not the same. The first time I change them I put them through a cleaning cycle before using them and they offer a smooth and comfortable shave with no discomfort. I removed the star because it seems to wear off after 6-8 weeks and is very rough to the touch and I maintain it as recommended with a cleansing cycle after each use. This latest purchase arrived in an unprotected envelope and the foil was crushed (see photo).
