Review on Acne Prone Dermatologist Recommended Mineral Based Broad Spectrum Sunscreen by Tara Taylor

Color: If you look at the top image in my photo, you can see the shade is not really my skin tone; However, after rubbing/applying fully, the color is a great match for my own skin tone. I see that this may not be the case with very, very light or dark skin, but I haven't tested this on anyone else to be sure. Texture when applied: After application, this sunscreen is not greasy like regular sunscreens. Once dry it has a nice dry matte finish. A matte finish is great as a base for applying foundation as it stays put without being shiny. Sunscreen: I've found that if I forget to put sunscreen on the rest of my body, my face doesn't take on color like the rest of my skin. It's a pain that like any other sunscreen it needs to be reapplied often as I use it under makeup which would also require another layer of foundation and powder. Bottle: The pump is easy to use and one long pump pulls away the perfect amount of sunscreen for one facial application. The pump is very soft so it doesn't take much force to squeeze. The sunshade comes with a transparent lid that won't come off when you travel, but can be removed without much effort. The bottle itself makes a well-made impression and is easy to handle. Sensitive Skin: I haven't noticed any issues with it causing irritation on my skin. Most facial products tend to give me acne but not this one - I haven't noticed any change in my skin since using it. Overall: Expensive but highly recommended by a dermatologist. They even suggested buying from Revain (rather than the office) as Revain tends to be the cheapest. Great sun protection product for every day. I love that I used it poolside on a recent vacation and it offers both sunscreen and makeup benefits (coverage isn't the best alternative to makeup, but much better than regular sunscreen). I will buy again. Update: 01/23/18 I am placing my second order for this product. I used it 1-2 times a day for about 5 months and it just ran out. I'm glad it's been going for so long. Update: 6/3/18 This bottle also lasted me about 5 months (a little less now as I use more than 2-4 times a day). Good product!
