Only buy if you are in a black metal band and need body paint with sun protection or never buy it

I love Cerave Skin Lotion for the face, but it's a minor thing. Absolute crap, I think this was concocted as a seriously flawed prank. When you apply it and rub it on your face (or you think you rub it) it leaves a light white haze that you can live with thinking the rest will just soak in. That's where Cerave comes into play. giggle at you Within 20 minutes of use it comes back giving you an angry look and now the product is completely laughing at you. .My Story: In my very well-lit bathroomโ€ฆ

It would be great for goth kids, but not everyone else.

Feels good but looks awful! The first time I applied "heavy" according to the instructions (maybe a third of a teaspoon) and it looked like white paint was on me. I saw another review of this product and tried again with less product but as I continued rubbing it faded but also micro peeled off and crumbled on my face so it looks a bit sticky and I'm still a lot paler am. I'm already quite pale, but it's pretty noticeable. This REALLY won't work for those with a not-so-light skin tone. Itโ€ฆ

I think the formula has changed for the better

I've seen other reviews saying this product is difficult to apply, pasty white, shiny. I did not find that at all with this sun protection product. It is translucent, smooth, non-greasy and easy to massage in. I compared it to Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Soft-Touch 50 and CereVe works better for me. It's easier to apply, more moisturizing than Neutrogena Sheer Zinc and doesn't turn me pale white. Neutrogena is thicker and more difficult to apply but has more zinc oxide, while CereVe contains bothโ€ฆ

Good with makeup on face Sunscreen

It has quite a strong white tint. It made me about 2 shades lighter than my normal skin tone. It was also very thick and quite difficult to rub in. Although the makeup goes on well and I had no stickiness or wrinkles. However, it almost acted like a primer and melted my powers making them more like skin, which was a plus. If you have oily skin, this can only make you look shiny. but something to protect me from the sun.
