Works as expected. I used this method to program my 1999 Escalade. (Googled) Step by step programming instructions: 1. Make sure the ignition is off. 2. Remove the RADIO fuse from the fuse box. The RADIO fuse is numbered 17 and is located on the left (left) side of the driver's side of the dashboard.3. Switch the ignition from OFF to RUN 3 times within 5 seconds and end with RUN. OFF is the position where you can remove the key and START is the position where the car hardly starts (do not start the engine or start the car while programming).4. The doors will lock and open, indicating successful entry into programming mode.5. Press and hold lock and unlock simultaneously on the first remote for about 15 seconds. The vehicle will respond by locking and unlocking the doors, indicating successful programming.6. Repeat step 5 for each additional remote control to be programmed.7. Turn off the ignition. Replace the RADIO fuse. Check all remote controls. Programming complete.
