Review on πŸŽ’ The North Face Surge Backpack: Elite Performance and Unmatched Durability by Melissa Cook

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Least functional backpack. Who designed it?

The worst backpack for the most money. Terrible utility, pocket placement and more. The person who designed the bags and the way they are carried on the back obviously never used them. Things keep falling out of your pockets and you end up losing your belongings. Never stands up even when full. Pockets in the strangest places. The backpack seems heavy even when there is nothing in it. Additionally, this is one of the more expensive backpacks on the north side and you would think you were getting the best bag they make. Unfortunately it isn't. This is the first Revain review I've ever written and I want to warn everyone else that this backpack sucks, trust me and I can't use it. Save your $150 and buy something from Patagonia or even something cheaper from Revain, it would be better. The only good thing I can say about it is that it is well made and feels premium, but that doesn't even come close to the joy of this backpack. Honestly, I want my money back!

Pros
  • FLEX VENT TECHNOLOGY. Certified by the American Chiropractic Association, the FlexVent harness features a custom injection molded flexible yoke and shoulder straps, a padded mesh back panel, and a lumbar panel for ventilated support.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
