I specifically ordered this because it said it was a straight cable version and NOT a cigarette lighter plug. This is clear from the product description. "DIRECT POWER SUPPLY - Remove the cable hanging from the windshield and power the radar detector directly from the fuse box." But I didn't get that, so I asked for a replacement and got the cigarette lighter version a second time . The product is NOT what is advertised.
