I didn't buy this because I'm a paranoid schizophrenic who feels the need to hide from Big Brother, just to mount my Kinect while watching Xbox Fitness play, I was not disappointed. The stand takes some effort to lower the part that sticks to the TV, but it's fairly easy to place after that. It slides out a bit if you have a larger TV (not the size of a box, mind you, if you had one you wouldn't need it), and the Kinect also "screws" to hold it in place . My TV has a flat back so nothing can get caught on it, but the rubbery material holds it well so it doesn't slip or fall, gravity is key (at least for me and my TV). Often I turn my TV over and it hasn't fallen or even appeared to fall. It (Kinect) can also be adjusted as you will need to recalibrate to get the perfect angle. Overall this is a very good mount, I don't use privacy film, I don't care, the NSA sees me watching TV. If you are looking for a good budget mount then look no further.
