Be careful. Don't waste your money on these locks. I would only have them for my son because they are easier for him to use. I discovered very quickly that they were so easy to break that the mean kids at school could just walk up to his locker, pull hard on it and break it right off his locker. After replacing broken locks three times, I decided not to waste any more money. My son now uses a traditional rotary padlock. He quickly learned how to use a conventional combination lock, realizing that the bullies would then no longer be able to break into his locker. Just take the time to teach your kids how to use the traditional rotary padlock. Just have a little faith in them that they can do it. This word lock might look cute and practical, but it doesn't securely lock your locker. If a high school kid can rip them off, you know they're too easy to hit. Not worth the money when a regular combination lock costs less than $4! sadness forever!
