When my wife got her Audi Q5 we decided to keep the 2013 Tahoe she drives as it was brand new so she could tow her trailer. A terrible winter storm earlier this year nearly destroyed the new battery, which took more than 24 hours to charge before finally dying. I ordered this little diddy right away and there are no more worries and the need for weekly starts during periods of downtime. I decided to plug it into a cigarette lighter, plug it into the dash to suck up some solar power, and the new battery, which we thought was bad, hasn't had any issues since. It's small enough to be easily disengaged and safely stowed away when the Tahoe is driving, and I know it won't be a problem in the future. If you have a replacement car, you should have one for each.
