Traveling with a newborn involves so many things! BTW, I posted this ahead of time to await our arrival! After opting for a cheaper version of the brand, I went home (there's no room in our luggage!) I was expecting a smaller amount of pillows, but was so pleasantly surprised! The pattern is made in the same style as the original - this pillow has many benefits!** Note - the nursing pillow can be used to breastfeed or bottle-feed your baby! Most of the time the baby is held in a generic crossbody/X-hand style which can be tiring for everyone no matter how you feed them! This pillow does the work of your hands for you. and allows you to hold your baby right on your lap, hands-free, wherever you like! *General bonus. As baby grows and straightens up, pillows are perfect for protection/support! Simply place baby on the floor, place them in the cut-out circle, and the pillow wraps around their sides, helping them stay upright like a platform until they find their balance. 2 in 1 use! Ordered in baby blue - I'm in love with the soft fabric and kids are so tactile I'm sure this will bring familiar comfort with consistent use. Not even my original pillow has a minky! The secure zip is easy to put on and take off - you can wash separately without damaging the integrity or shape of the foam inserts! Wash on cold/gentle cycle and air dry so I don't have any shrinking and fading. best of all - no loose threads inside. Please be patient to remove/put on the cover for easier washing. The two-piece panels are respectably shaped - they are made of foam and are well finished with pleats/flap stitching. I find that the resilience of a pillow is similar to a sofa or bed pillow. (They can crack after severe overuse/long term use.) *Hack: If extra support is needed at the weak point of the foam padding - wrap that part with Muslim burp cloth to restore/retain the intended shape - then zip over it like insert as usual. No! I didn't have to do that with this pillow - I only share it when necessary. You will thank me later! For a cause that will last through all the years of raising your child.
