There is a screw on the back of the lock that needs to be turned to the vertical position when the lock is first installed. Trying to make it as delicate as possible the screw wouldn't turn and just wore off like using a metal screwdriver on the wax! I lock my LCD screen in a studio that has a security system, so I take a half risk keeping the default unlock code 0000, hoping no one thinks of a lock with the default unlock code. Lots of everything for $4-5, but again, there's no point in buying something that looks like metal but erases like wax :P
