Comfortable high density foam (40 lb). For other purposes I think it will work fine. But I wanted a motorcycle seat on the gel. but if it's too much. I mean it's crazy to add 1 inch of high density foam to a motorcycle seat. This advertises cushioning, but "doubles" the size of the seat. I will be using this for future projects because the foam itself is very pretty. From a presentation perspective, this is fine. it is shipped in a vacuum polythene bag. However, you must give it 24 hours to fully expand. I felt like mine just got fully expanded for an hour at most.
