Dirties and stains easily

Loved the interchangeable animal pieces… the kids really enjoy interacting with them as they are being examined. However I noticed my first ink stain with in one week of purchase and now the stethoscope looks terrible after one year. I’ve tried multiple methods to clean off the stains. No success. Now looks too dirty to continue to use inspite of good sound quality.
