Windows 10 Pro nightmare, Ubuntu to the rescue

There is nothing wrong with this device. The problem is that Windows 10 Pro worked for about 5 minutes and then lost the Wi-Fi connection during the update. I could never get the WiFi to work again. Had to use ethernet to try and complete the updates. The OS kept crashing with notifications from the OS that something went wrong and needed a reboot. This madness lasted for hours and was never resolved. The operating system said it forwarded the crash logs to Microsoft. Never corrected. It only got worse. I gave up after 5 days. What to do? I removed NVME and replaced it with a blank one, booted Ubuntu 20.04 onto it, and the little computer has been working fine ever since. The WiFi connection works great and there is no problem with the small car. Someday I will reinstall the original Windows Pro NVME and try again to see if anything changes. To be honest, I don't expect that. The problem is with Microsoft, not with Beelink. UPDATE August 2021: As mentioned in my previous review above, I've put Windows 10 Pro NVME back into the device hoping that 8 months after the initial troubles I'll be able to restart the computer and call it home. Microsoft when downloading problems can be solved. This time they made it. I've been driving the car for many days with no problems. Then I upgraded to GK55. I replaced the stock NVME drive with a 250GB Samsung drive and migrated the OS through Acronis. I also added a 500GB Samsung SSD to the space provided in the small box. However, one caveat. The Beelink installation video on YouTube did it wrong and the device wouldn't boot. Turns out they noted in the youtube description box that the video was wrong, but I never read it. A real shame they didn't re-download the correct version and saved countless users from problems. Apart from this last bug, the device works great and I have it for SDR radio which requires a quad core processor of more than 2 gigabytes and moves without problems. Graphics on the 4125 are fine, but lack resolution in 1080 and 4K modes. For the price and the performance it offers me now, this was finally a bargain. By the way, Ubuntu put the device on its own, but in the end I wanted the 10 Pro. And the last remark. I ran the Microsoft Windows 11 update tool on this device, but since the GK55 lacks TP (Trusted Module) and Secure Boot mode, this model cannot be updated to Windows 11. However, Windows 10 will be supported for another 4 years. Therefore, this device is designed to last a long time.
