no recommendation to buy this fan. Sure, it's nice, but it's definitely not worth the headache and hassle of getting a replacement or getting help. The fan was dead on arrival. I installed it, checked all the wiring and the light switch. Everything was good. I installed the fan, checked the cables again, so far so good. Turned on the switch and it worked for about 10 seconds. Triple checked all wiring and the wall switch and remote control. Now it only beeps 3 times when I press a button on the remote. Again it's a beautiful fan, but now it's just a piece of furniture hanging from my ceiling. For what I paid for it, I expect it to work.
