for recording my YouTube videos. The 10 inch high Kamisafe phone tripod seemed to cover all my needs, so I decided to give it a try. Based on the name and description, it is designed for phone users to take photos, videos or selfies. and with the included adjustable phone holder and bluetooth remote it works perfectly. I have an iPhone 8 Plus with an Otterbox Defender case, so it's a big phone in a big case. The phone holder adjusts to 3.5 inches and barely stayed on my phone. I found that my phone would fit securely in the adjustable holder if I removed the outer rubber cover from the case, so I would recommend this to those of you who have larger phones. Remove part of the case or remove it completely from the case to keep it securely on the phone. The Bluetooth remote worked well with my iOS phone, started and stopped it while recording video and was also great for taking photos and selfies. On some devices, Android/Google may have slightly less functionality on the remote, e.g. B. Can't start/stop videos, but Kamisafe says there's an app you can download to bypass some of them. What really impressed me about this tripod is its reliability and flexibility. I shoot safety driving videos and training videos in my cars and am always looking for suitable locations. Be sure to install a small camcorder or action cam/GoPro camera. This tripod made it a lot easier to mount my small action camera in different places in my car so I could capture myself, the action, or the scenery. I liked that and thanks to the detachable 1/4 thread mount it was easy for me to mount my cameras on the tripod very quickly. One of my camera's screw mounts was a bit flat, so I added a thin washer between the bottom of the camera and the threaded mount to ensure good contact with the tripod. Easy to fix and very safe. I was very happy with this tripod and would recommend it to anyone looking for a super flexible octopus style tripod.
