This cable only seems to support USB 2.0 speeds, the Oculus utility didn't like this cable and I've tried all the USB-C ports on my desktop. I ignored his error about this cable not being compatible and tried using Oculus to link. The connection was unreliable at best and frankly poor quality as the link utility struggled to compress the video enough to play it over the cable. When he "worked," he was incoherent and fastidious. Also, the cable doesn't carry enough current over its entire length to prevent my VR headset battery from draining. I'm returning it to buy an OEM cable. Trying to save a few bucks this time didn't pay off. Don't buy it unless you need a 16-foot, 2-amp charging cable. Or maybe you want to experience USB 2.0+ speeds again on a USB-C device.
