As some of the reviews have pointed out, this thing kills thousands of bugs and really spits out smoldering bug remains! Perfect! The best part? Probably over 75% of the bugs I get are mosquitoes which is why I bought these. I added the video today because less than 48 hours ago we had heavy rain that completely erased the lightning. The bugs you see in the video have since been destroyed and remember many of the bugs that are killed are falling down so you only see a fraction of the ones that were killed. The video is about 30 seconds long and in real time, no cheating. Hoping to reach the time when I can enjoy my garden after dark without drowning in repellants. Until then, this bad boy works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or until he's collected enough bugs to walk away with them in a blaze of glory. My only regret about this product is that I didn't purchase it sooner and I will be purchasing another one just to have a backup. My garden is exactly half an acre and the only outdoor lighting I use from morning to night is 2 wall sconces inside the house. I can say that with a glowing lantern in the backyard I notice fewer insects of all kinds under the lights in the house at night, which is cool. I just hope the little sticky frogs that eat the bugs by the streetlights don't get shot trying to eat there. Either way, please do your part. Buy this thing and kill all mosquitoes! Who knows what viruses they are carrying now.
