It's cute and the color modes are nice. It comes with a remote control and you can set it to different patterns as it changes colors automatically, or choose from fifteen different colors plus white (but the colors on the buttons have nothing to do with the actual colour), which is great . It works as a night light and can be powered by both batteries and USB. And who doesn't have a spare charger these days, right? But for me, the two character cutouts were the biggest shortcoming. Nice, but it's not a 3D laser engraved "crystal" on the inside of things, just pieces of cut acrylic with a pattern engraved on one side. It works, mind you, but not quite what I expected. And the acrylic material scratches if you look at it too closely. Characters from Avatar, Airbender that my daughter loved as a teenager. I never found out if it was real anime or just something mimicking that style, but it was a fun cartoon from the era. A feature film was even made based on this story. So it's nice to see the characters again; I just expected too much.
