I have a Sony camcorder that works with it. This works great, but I'm saying this because I make personal self-help entries. It doesn't create a standard video that can be copied directly from a DVD to your computer's hard drive. I have a studio video production program that can import it to a PC, but there is no other way to do it. I have another Sony camcorder that allows me to copy videos straight to my hard drive. So for travel and video storage, it's really economical. When it comes to video production, it's a bit more difficult.
