I have had no problems with this solar fountain pump. I took a small plastic container with a hole in the rim of the lid so I can protect the end from the elements when it rains. It uses a power supply that lasts a long time. What makes it comfortable is that it's not sunny, it doesn't need bright sunlight to work. I think both ways have advantages. One of my suns just went away after only two months for no reason. I hope this one lasts longer than the solar.
