Good deal for the money but actual defense capability is negligible. The jacket lives up to the advertising but it won't do you any good if you throw yourself at over 35 km/h. This safety gear is not CE certified and will not withstand a fall, although it would be okay if you fall off your bike in a parking lot. At the same time, the leather is of high quality, well cut, with a good fit and finish. Hard OUTER layer. The armor that comes with it is better than nothing, but not up to scratch. It's good to train in the parking lot. My recommendation, if you're buying this for 30+ mph use, you'd better wear some real armor underneath or you'll regret it (if you live to tell the tale).
