I used a 22 inch Kifty Knitter, CinDWood Crafts looms and a Boye Square Loom. All three looms have both advantages and disadvantages when it comes to their use. On a Boye loom, it's easier to wrap the yarn around the pins, resulting in a looser stitch that's easier to knit. The disadvantage of the Boye loom is the pins. When I first started using the Boye loom the yarn was too tight and a few pins popped out of the frame. I was able to get the pins back into the frame but they tend to pop out while crocheting. This can add some "fun" to knitting, but I was able to work around the loose stem by putting it back into the hoop while the stitch was still in place. I have not attempted to knit a double knit scarf on the Boye loom. Recommended with caution.
