Review on ☕ Capresso ST300 Stainless Steel 10-Cup Thermal Coffee Maker (Model 435.05) by Sandra Reyes

I bought this Capresso coffee machine because I have had several coffee machines from this company and I was very satisfied with each one. I returned this model to Revain due to a serious problem. I would use program mode to wake up to the smell of coffee and enjoy a cup right away. However, on several occasions I woke up to find the brewer dripping all over the counter and onto the wooden floor (which was a little warped from the hot coffee). This problem wasn't limited to brewing a full carafe; this also happened when brewing half a carafe. I called Capresso and they quickly sent me a new carafe and lid. Same problem. This overflow didn't happen every night, but it did happen often enough. In one overflow incident, I noticed that the problem wasn't in the cone that houses the filter and coffee. Apparently a vapor lock formed in the pot and the coffee spilled over the top of the pot. Others have experienced the same problem. I think this is a design flaw as the second carafe and lid didn't solve the problem. I will consider buying other Capresso products but not this coffee maker.
