I am disappointed with this chipboard. For my purposes I needed the exact measurement of 8.5" x 11"; this chipboard measures however, about 1/16" less than 11". For many this wasn't a problem, but for me it meant cutting hundreds of sheets of paper to make a neat book. Another problem is that the "short fiber" board is is cut, meaning the board fibers run across the board instead of up and down. Again, this may not matter to you or may be an advantage, say if you have a book that is 11" wide and 11" high from 8, 5 inches, but for my purpose I needed the grain to appear "long". This was not known before the purchase. I also find the board quite thin. Again, there was no way to tell from the description. My caliper measured a plate thickness of 0.1.2mm or 0.05 inch. 0.05 inch is 1/20 inch. It's too thin for me.
