If you're looking for a shoe to wear over your toddler's brace, look no further! I've tried several styles, laced and unlaced, I've tried Nike Elastic (supposedly made specifically for children with special needs) and a few others. Nothing beats a pair of new XW scales. I don't even have to order a size up! Not to mention they're cute too! Note to parents: do not take models with laces. Stick to this and you will save a lot of time and effort putting it on and taking it off your child's leg, especially the leg with the orthosis. My daughter always chooses these over all the other pairs we have for her corset, even other new balances. There's something she loves about this model and says it's comfortable. Thank you New Balance for making a cute shoe that actually fits over an afro!
